For all the people who have a melody in their head and cant seem to translate it to midi through piano roll or key board theres an easier way. Using Melodyne you can litterally just hum your tune in and click save to midi. Easy as that. Ofcoarse you need to tweak it a little but it accurately translates your vocal chords to midi

AHAHAHA. This is how I used to produce House music until I got my midi keyboard. Edison is actually a very powerful tool. I'm surprised people pass it up so often because it comes with FL. Though it definitely is a good way to have fun and get some interesting results.

I always just slapped Kerovee on a mixer track, turned the response speed down and watched the notation...

I don't use Kerovee at all, except for this. If I could afford Melodyne I would probably use it.

If u use fl, you can get newtone and pitcher for $12 and Ive heard that newtone is basically the same thing as melodyne

I think I actually already bought it I just haven't bothered using it yet. I don't do much work with vocals atm so I don't really get much use out of pitch correction software so I forget about it sometimes.

10 still in beta? Don't want to install maleware while installing flstudio. In the middle of a project, can't take any risks right now.

Pretty sure it's not? All my FL9 projects worked fine in 10 when I switched, so I dont think that should be a problem.

Says you. Microsoft sees it as malware, in that regard, good enough for me.
The actual 10 release was a beta, if I'm not mistaken. They could have made it official by now, but at the time they released 10 they stated that the 10 release was a beta. I'm aware that the 9.x's were betas for 10, as well.

I don't think it is beta. I read that its the final version of 10, but if bugs are found, they will update...which isn't anything unusual

Pretty certain that they initially listed it as a beta, and an RC, release candidate. It may be official now, don't know.
