Renoise 2.7.0 official release

Post by Genevieve » Sat May 14, 2011 7:27 pm

It's been a few days already, but it's officially been released.

I gotta say, the new automation is fucking amazing. Next level shit. Absolutely perfect.

I don't care much for the frequency splitter, though. It's not nearly as clean enough as it could've been. Then again, it's not like Renoise's native filters are good to begin with...

Beatslicer is great, of course. Perfect intergration into the workflow.

Yeah, they do upgrade exactly what needs to be upgraded.

Now let's hope for audio tracks and custom envelopes for sample lots...

I've been using reason/record mostly for the past 6 months, but I think I'll dive back into renoise over the summer. the new updates look really tasty.

Don't forget to check your backstage account, they've uploaded a few new packs of .xrni instruments and samples with the release. Some of the atmospheric/soundscape stuff is pretty nice. :4:

Bump, anybody else using this? I think I can now safely say I've spent more time with Renoise than all horizontal DAWs combined. In fact, I don't think I'll ever really need something like Ableton now. I highly recommend it for those considering.

Renoise is da Bomb! Making music is so easy with Renoise , just a couple of samples and the internal FX. Bum! Song is ready :)
