i would presume most essential mixes are done on a DAW.. seth troxler's recent essential mix was done 'live' and he just got voted 3rd best DJ in the world and he had bare slip ups in his. i'm sure he fucks up battle for middle for you with the phrasing

oh i'm not saying all are on DAWs... essential mixes have been going for years.

Feeling pretty excited about this, hopefully he drops some stuff that's more like his old stuff, so much more jazz/funk/soul to it compared to his new stuff imo.

I'm slightly peeved that "Limit to your Love" turned out his "signature tune" amongst the masses.

yea this! the first releases on hessle and hemlock ARE the james blake sound for me, not that the new stuff isnt great as well... hoping to hear a good few harmonimixes too!
