Free Software?

Post by MCRD+ » Tue May 24, 2011 9:17 pm

Hey Guys, i am a fairly new producer that needs to know any free DAW's that are any good.
I dont have the means to buy any software as i am only thirteen and i don't really want to download anything cracked because i would want to support the creators of it, so what are some good free daw's that can be used on ubuntu or windows?
Thanks

Reaper. It asks you to pay after like 30 days but its optional, and its powerful. That's what I would reccommend, free anyway.

i've listed some of the best freeware DAWs (including other types of VST hosts) here:
http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2011/05 ... lications/

hope i'm not getting on everyone's nerves by posting links to my blog, but the reason it's there is to help people find good free stuff easily.
