I know this sounds a bit mainstream, but how can anyone deny how legit this is:

deadmau5 did a clever thing marketing himself to people that generally dont listen to or have any knowledge of electronic music, means he can create the most generic shit ever and still get praise for it

Although I do agree that most of his tracks are rather generic, he has a few truly amazing songs.

I was at his concert the other week, and he is by far (in my opinion, of course) the best act out there.
