Re: An Apology From DropCliff
You should have already removed the illegal download element of your site.
There is plenty of good free music available which you could post in order to give your audience the chance to download something for free. For example check the dubs section for fresh FREE tracks. Also keep your eye on other blogs. Deadboy has just given away a track, Skream has recently given away his RATM Remix and Benga has given something away too. This is the kinda stuff you should be giving away for free. Then link released tracks to itunes/beatport/juno etc for people to purchase.

Like you aren't just expecting people to google your shit anyway after reading this thread.

Obviously if they don't know what I'm talking about, then they will. I'm not using this thread to advertise.epochalypso wrote:Like you aren't just expecting people to google your shit anyway after reading this thread.

it's good that you realise your mistake, but you apologise and then say this
just remove them...
this strikes me like a lame attempt at publicising your site otherwise
why would you even need our help to remove links on your site?DropCliff wrote:My proposal (and I need your help on this) is to completely remove the download links, and to keep the iTunes link so that people can purchase that artist's songs if they so choose.

Re: An Apology From DropCliff
your just trying to salvage some kind of credibility from the forum by saying you're planning to sort it out, why not just do it, it's not like a lot of people on this forum will actually use your site anyway based on the sort of tunes you're putting up...badger wrote:it's good that you realise your mistake, but you apologise and then say thiswhy would you even need our help to remove links on your site?DropCliff wrote:My proposal (and I need your help on this) is to completely remove the download links, and to keep the iTunes link so that people can purchase that artist's songs if they so choose.just remove them...

Jesus. Everyone on this forum is a tnuc. Why can't you all stop being pricks? For fucks sake. I was throwing the idea out there, hoping to get some fucking advice - and maybe some further help in the matter. All you shit heads do is take every situation, and analyze the fuck out of it. I'm not advertising jack shit. How obvious do I have to make that?
And the tunes on my site ARE dubstep. What the fuck else would they be? Fairystep? Everyone has their own fucking taste, you ignorant bastards. Grow some fucking balls before you bash someone else's taste in music.
Good. Fucking. Bye.
You are all sad motherfuckers.
Love,
Harry

What advice do you need? This is what's getting people riled up, that you can't just remove it. You've come to advertise your blog, people are vexed that you're giving away shit for free. Can you not see why that would make anyone angry?
People like you really piss me off and make this forum an annoying place at times. You come in and expect everyone to agree with you straight away, and when it doesn't happen, you call everyone super exclusive or "shit heads".
On a forum where many producers post regularly, do you really think a blog giving away them and their peers music was going to go down well.
You really are a fucking knob head man.

Re: An Apology From DropCliff
my advise is to stop posting tunes illegally without the producer's permission. what more do you need? and how could you possibly need help from any body other than yourself to do that? there's no need to "throw the idea out there" - just do it if you genuinely feel bad about itDropCliff wrote:Jesus. i'm hungry and i've come to the conclusion that i need some lunch. my proposal (and i may need some help on this), was to get some fish and chips. does everyone think this is a good idea?
Re: An Apology From DropCliff

No. That's not a good idea. Seeing as the wind is blowing in an easterly direction, and the flow of the north-east currents has dimmed the - fish from the waters are not as fresh as they were on Tuesday. So no, a burger from Maccers would be a more suitable choice.badger wrote:my advise is to stop posting tunes illegally without the producer's permission. what more do you need? and how could you possibly need help from any body other than yourself to do that? there's no need to "throw the idea out there" - just do it if you genuinely feel bad about itDropCliff wrote:Jesus.
