Muteqx has crafted an absolute corker of an album for us. “Chronicles” is a perfectly balanced mix of beats, bass and synth, all wrapped up in a dubstep, future-garage, beats and bassline styled box (which Dave has most definitely been thinking outside of). Wonderfully interesting rhythmic patterns, clever use of sound and space and a real ear for a great track. It’s very hard to fault Muteqx’s first big release for Echodub, and his hard work has most definitely paid off. Repeat listens guaranteed.

on another note, will we ever be getting a physical release from CUT or Echodub? i know it doesnt matter to most people as long as the music is out there, but i cant stand when its only digital, especially when the quality is so good!

Not until someone funds it I'm afraid - the costs are just too high at the moment.

Just my luck to be moving house in the middle of everything - found out about a week after we'd fixed the album release date, d'oh!

Anyway, I wanted to drop a quick word of thanks in to everybody who has supported me, and who is enjoying the album. It really means a lot!

I'm already feeling inspired to make more tunes (once house move is out of the way) so watch out for an EP coming out later this year.
