Do any of you ever listen to Ben Frost? He's an icelandic ambient composer. His music is largely beatless and often without melody, but stunningly beautiful... and he has the most incredible snarling bass sounds I've ever heard. Puts all the brostep I've ever heard to shame. I'm not really asking how to make these sounds, I don't really know how I would use them, but I thought y'all might be interested from a sound design/disection point of view.

The two tunes below are among my favourite tunes in the world;

Mans a genius, he uses live instruments through guitar distortion/fx pedals and feedback loops and the likes to create some of his sounds from what I have seen in videos. Theory of Machines is a timeless album.
