OK now, I'm COMPLETELY new to all of this stuff and I've been looking around on google and whatnot for the physical equipment, not just software, that Dubstep artists prefer. Whether it be because it helps control the bass better, or whatever.

Everytime I look online all I see is about software. Im looking mainly for specific Mixers. Help?

Danke! :4:

a mixer has nothing to do with Producing the music if your looking for hardware you should be looking for a hardware synth

if your new to everything then you dont need hardware get a software synth and learn it ,most dubstep producers dont use hardware synths anyways

i dunno, i learned how to use a hardware synth first, but it is definitely financially smarter to go the other way around. I had a Dave Smith Evolver but i sold it :u: :u: :u: still have a Korg electribe but it and my power speaker are at a friends house right now.

Spending ££££s on hardware before you know what you're doing is not going to help you make good tunes, it's just going to help you make expensive crap.

Go buy the following items:

1x Book on Music Theory
1x Pair of Monitors
1x Digital Audio Workstation
Inf x Time to learn and compose your own music and appreciate what it is.

Start learning to use the DAW of your choice and make some tunes.
Hardware only makes it easier to achieve what you can already do in the software ( The kind you speak of anyway. )
