Would it be possible for me to buy a tr 505 and use the step sequencer to input midi in logic? I really hate the fact i have to draw in all my percussion in the piano roll.
Thanks

Midi keyboard? 4x4 drum pad like padkontrol?
Piano rolls are kind of lame, maybe a step sequencer?

Coming from fl studio i guess im kinda used to step sequencers for drum programming. Ive been looking for a step sequencer plugin for logic but to no avail. Are midi keyboards commonly used to input drums? What do you guys use?
The reason i thought about the 505 is cos you can mod it and get some really crazy sounds out of it! =) Could there be potential issues from inputting midi into logic via the 505? I wanted the midi to trigger the samples in exs24 rather than the 505 instrument sounds.
