WITHOUT WANTING TO COUNT OUR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY BE HATCHED, WE ARE QUITE EXITED ABOUT THIS VENUE!

For those who dun kno, the big joint is located in south street in scotstoun, between two mot centres, and right across from the first bus depot. Its basically a bar with a very dark room out back which suits us perfectly, and has even featured in episodes of taggart whenaver the script call for a night club with scuzzy appeal. Its also well away from the city and any flats so you know what that means

DOORS 10PM TILL 3AM DOOR TAX £5
DRINKS-CHEAP

Im not sure what the line up is other than the other eliminators, im sure someone from the crew will post up here soon enought to fill you in. Dress rehearsal for the biggie next month........

I can't make the 19th, slap bang in the middle of exam time, but no way I'm missing Shackleton et al. Like the sound of the venue too, I remember South Street as looking a bit like you'd expect to stumble over a corpse or two, so no wonder Taggart used it.

Aye, I was converted to the cause by two nights for Triptych, first was Kode 9 & The Spaceape who were fuggin' ace, then the Eliminators night at Classic Grand with DMZ & Loefah which was even better.

Looking forward to Shackleton, can't wait to hear In The Next World on a heavy system :D

Shackleton as a post-exam stress buster? Oh aye, that'll do nicely. That'll do very nicely indeed. :)

Whats crackin,

The mysterious Rib Tickler asked me to post the following info about this Saturday coming.

The line-up as of the moment is: Gravious (LIVE), The Rib Tickler, Baza B, Flash Harry and Ill Fill.

At some point in the week i'm gonna check out what buses head to (or near) the Big Joint from Central. I'm sure taxi's will be pretty inexpensive from the centre of town anyway.

In regards to the Skull Disco night, Shackleton & Appleblim will be playing 3 hours between them. It's a pay-at-the-door affair, and it's gonna be off the fucking nekkle, so don't miss it!

Cheers - Mark

Yeah, I'm curious about that too, are you bringing in gear from outside? Just wondering if the in house system is built for our...requirements?
