I'm new to the forum and wanted to dabble in a little dub makin. I wanted a new midi controller and I know that there are apps out there that do this. It's cheaper this way. Has anybody used any of these apps? Any recommendations?

I don't use any like a keyboard but I use one called AC-7 Core. I use it to control my DAW (the faders, transport, and all that stuff).

I actually found one that's even better it's called thouchAble. I use ableton and it's made just for it.

Edit: The downside is that it's $20 more than touchosc.

that's not a downside when you consider what you're getting - touch screen midi controller. if you can afford an ipad, what's $20?

That's true. I'm just looking for the biggest bang for my buck.
