As far as unmemorable by the numbers stuff goes, most standard dancefloor dnb is pretty much brostep.

As far as harsh brutal noise and simple rhythms goes:

I suppose this is kinda a brostep equivalent? It's good stuff, though. I'm not into what people call 'brostep', but I love the harsher side of drum & bass.

Here you go. Cheesy Bricktop samples, nuf wobbelz/fart noises and all at 170 - I give you 'Misery Guts' by DJ Rowney.

Also, what's wrong with 'bodyrock'?

Such a BIG tune!

I actually quite like some jump up dnb just gets very very boring after a couple of tracks!

Either the stuff Bassnectar makes or Liquidfunk, although I don't think everyone else hates that.

'bodyrock' is actually the tune that inspired the 'clownstep' name afaik.

pretty sure 'twist 'em out' solidified it though.

but yeah. most dnb = brostep for me at least...

We call it Jump Up 'round these parts.

However, my interpretation of 'Brostep' was heavy/industrial/relentless/heavyweight business. A DNB equivalent might be Corrupt Souls / Raiden / Tech Itch / Current Value / Limewax, we tend to call this stuff 'Tech', but again, this is a catch all term that covers a lot of ground and there's a big difference between say Current Value and Corrupt Souls.

Eitherway, you're probably looking for Jump Up/Clownstep or Tech rather than Liquid or Autonomic.
