The best way that won't be slow as hell is to sign-up for a VPN, costs about $5 a month though
Re: Proxy anonymisers for secret surfing?
there's banlists for these generators. updated every few days, also google can and has been suspending accts over it. don't check your g mail using it, and don't use g maps or g earth, unless you want to be on their abuse list. the whole reason g maps / g earth is free is that they can geolocate you and what you search, to get their money for the service. same with g translate...

VPNs are the best, the cheapest deals are with American resellers and webhosts. They also tend not be black listed.
TOR is shite, I wouldn't waste your time unless you like to receate what it was like to surf the web on a 14.4k modem.

Anyone know of some DIY methods then, like going through proxy servers? Then the ping would be elsewhere at least...seckle wrote:there's banlists for these generators. updated every few days, also google can and has been suspending accts over it. don't check your g mail using it, and don't use g maps or g earth, unless you want to be on their abuse list. the whole reason g maps / g earth is free is that they can geolocate you and what you search, to get their money for the service. same with g translate...

Well one simple one is I get locked out of websites when I change what the browser's viewing and can't get back in because of some daft lock-out that recognises my IP!ketamine wrote:I don't even want to know why you'd need this lol
