2010 was the year of Opiuo, as he made his mark on bass music by touring the globe and literally topping the charts. As Opiuo drops his first release for 2011, it shows his growth as a producer as he reaches further to redefine his ever expanding genre bending electronic dancefloor experience!

Just in time for the summer, Opiuo lays out a heavy release that is bound for domination of the charts, the soundsystems all over the globe, and hours upon hours in your earholes.

The Squiggle EP is a mixed bag of audio nuts that draws from multiple influences and vibes. Starting with War Cod you know Opiuo has something special in store for you with this release. Crafting this one in the studio with ill-esha, we promise you have never heard 140 bpm bass music approached like this as warbly bass and an infectious skip are the backbone to glitchy keys and euphoric pads. Moose Tooth then grabs you by the funkbone, slamming its beat down and demanding your presence on the dancefloor, constantly pumping its way to one of the phattest and glitchiest breakdowns in history. Next up is The Ghetto, a serious lurching bass monster. All sorts of creatures live inside your speakers, but this little mutant of a track rips out to open the doors to your inner dancing freak. Last but not least is a remix of Shapeshifter’s “Longest Day” a lush vocal tune that rounds out the package nicely and one that we are sure to hear in sunrise sets this festival season.

Opiuo is back, and this time with even more flavor and phatness in his audio treats!

Even though this release is available on over 300 sites, we encourage you to purchase from the Addictech store. We are very generous to our artists, and by purchasing from this site you support them directly!
