Post by firky » Tue Jun 14, 2011 9:47 pm

Fuckin' class, Clegg and Cameron kicked out of a hospital ward for not observing standard hospital practices.

well it wasn't actually them two it was the camera team?

and I think the doctor actually objects to the dress code but was making a point about double standards?

think he should have shouted something about how cameron is ruining the NHS too, as he has expressed in interviews afterwards, would have been so much better!

They took their ties off and rolled up their sleeves for the camera but did not ask their entourage to do the same. It was all show. If they had an ounce of sense they would have asked the cameras and the bodyguards to do the same. But no, it's a stunt.

There is of course the arguments about lack of basic hygiene from visitors increasing and spreading infection, which is of course very costly, and not to mention how faux the whole stunt was.

doubt it, they should have more sense than that. i can see from a mile off that if they tried anything like that this dude would kick up an unbelieveable fuss. you'd see him on newsnight (major news+analysis show) the next day, even this government aren't that stupid.

it literally wouldn't make a difference, some doctor who has shamefaced him won't get secret service shit going on.

however dr kelly who could unravel everything the government was doing and credibly have a case for a war crimes tribunal is worth a nasty accident, one thing i'll never get though is why stab him? noone who commits suicide stabs themselves to death, maybe the dudes who did it had a bet to see how blatantly they could make it look not like suicide yet it still get seen as that without *most* people questionning it.

haha this is so great I'm glad a pompous doctor is wasting his time trying to get on the news rather than doing his job.

Best thing about the video was when Cameron starts telling the Dr he agrees then makes him to leave.

yeah no doubt moving those people who had ties on 50m to the right was far more important than anything else he could have been up to.

no doubt there was something else he could have done had he been somewhere else, but ward regulation is ward regulation no matter who you are filming
