Post by Sharmaji » Wed Jun 15, 2011 4:11 pm

as is so often the case, this one was delayed by good old pressing issues, but i'm stoked to say-- DaveyJones002 "How to Move" b/w "Twist it Left" is out on digi NOW, w/ vinyl to come in a couple of weeks.

big up to Letty for the video!

and a huge amount of thanks to Ben UFO, Ramadanman, Blackdown, DaveQ, Foster, Boomnoise, Hyetal, Coleco, and the rest of you lovelies for the support of the tunes.

Vinyl ships Friday-- nice review from Boomkat:

"Outstanding outernational dubstep/swing grooves from Sharmaji and DJ Wade of New York's Sub Swara posse! Championed by Ben UFO, Sharmaji's 'How To Move' is a spellbinding polyrhythmic wriggler conducting Mala-meets-Shackleton-style gallop-stepping drums and deadly bassline descents while a buoyant R&B sample keeps the whole thing treading water. Composed with DJ Wade, 'Twist It Left' leafs the Skull Disco catalogue for inspiration, going in old testament style with darker dread atmospheres, and fluid, rippling Tabla rhythms from Sharmaji. A straight tip!"
