Favorite artists sound design/production-wise right now?

I'm getting really into fine-tuning and polishing my tracks right now, and I'm having a lot of fun designing my own sounds and transitions rather than using presets. Looking for some interesting influence as far as that goes.
Here's mine right now:
-Telefon Tel Aviv will probably always be my favorite.
-Boards of Canada always.
-Apparat
-Amon Tobin always.
-I've always loved some of the Silversun Pickups' ambience in some of there songs, especially the Pikul EP.
-Hecq. Most of his stuff is way to out there for me, but sound design-wise, he's killer.
-eDIT
-Morcheeba's songs are always very well put-together and produced without being over-produced IMO.
-Moby's new album Destroyed
-Infected Mushroom always
-Last but not least, Billy Corgan, his older stuff at least, I hate how he took the wall of sound idea and applied it to his vocals on the new album though. Yuck

trifonic are incredible producers, their sound design is consistently some of the best i've heard. jon hopkins is absolutely up there, too.

I've mentioned these before, but both the Sound on Sound articles about them have been awesome reads;
ooooh my god... i can't even begin to imagine what all that is for. Especially the Max/MSP part, I've never really understood that. But I'll be learning soon when i start school

<3 those SOS interviews. It's a shame that they haven't interviewed them recently given how their sound has progressed so much in the last decade.
That Old Apparatus release deserves a mention as well as that guy who did the 1-bit symphony stuff.

animal collective, and radiohead - johnny is a mad genius. and my blood valentine, even though their sound has been mimicked 1000x over. I've always loved massive attack's sounds too.

I'm not sure I've heard anyone close to Amon Tobin in terms of sound design. Listening to his songs is literally listening to the mind of a genius.

Left Brain, one of the odd future producers is really doing it for me at the moment. Cites his influences as Flying Lotus and old g funk.
Also, Soosh. and S.Maharba.

Fucking eh. The Last Resort is one of my favorite albums of all time... got me into electronic music. There's so much detail in his music, I envy his ears
