Juke = A joke for very tech savy producers

I like the re worked sound of the 90's Juke music that has been flying around of late. It occurred to me that a lot of the artists putting it out are very tech savvy and know what they are doing as producers. Yet when listening to the music it is quite apparent that this is very basic stuff with 808 samples in it.

What i like think happened is all these top producers sat around a table, had a massive blazing session and then decided that for a laugh they would put out loads of simple Juke style music and see if because of there already massive reputations people would just accept it.

Still regardless of how it occurred i love the music :)

Love people that don't understand chicago music. Chicago House, Booty House, Juke, etc etc whatever the genre, chicago has always been about dancing first and attention for the artist second. Shit was around ages before europe got ahold of it... will be around ages after ya'll get bored with it.

who are these big producers you like to imagine released all this music to see if people just accepted it?
what on earth are you on?
why cant people accept that modern juke has it's artists and audience who relate to, feel and enjoy this music. it's a style that has evolved like any other. there aint no conspiracy / inside joke being played for chrissakes.
