So just how big has the dubstep bubble got now that we’re half way through 2011? Well let’s see; Ministry Of Sound got in on the act with their first dubstep compilation, US man of the moment Skrillex came, saw and conquered Creamfields earlier this year, dance-pop knuckleheads LMFAO have been jacking bass wobbles and taking them to the charts, the just-announced Parklife lineup is littered with dubstep acts like Nero and Magnetic Man, and dubstep themed club nights are popping up more and more frequently. Yeah, it’s gotten pretty big.

But because of this boom in the genre – it seems that every mainstream release must come backed with at least one ‘dubstep remix’ these days – and its widespread visibility on the dance music scene we’re getting exposed to more bad dubstep to go along with the good stuff. And it’s not just the professionals at the centre of the dubstep explosion, it’s the young guns making low budget bangers in their bedrooms, uploading their productions to YouTube and shockingly getting tens of thousands of ‘likes’ because the world needed a dubstep remix of a Snow Patrol song. Really.

So just how bad is bad in this case? Well, in the interest of being definitive – and possibly because we’re gluttons for aural punishment – inthemix decided it was time to compile the complete list of awful dubstep remixes. The worst of the worst. You’re excited, right? Read on!

Don't see what your problem is, bedroom producers mainly produce for fun and because they enjoy it. Why not upload something you've done to Youtube? People can spend their time and expose their music however they like.
