Buying Used Monitors That "need repair"
I saw some used rokit 6's on musicians friend that fall under the "class D" rating and claim "This product needs repair, but can be brought back to full playability." and also that states "If you are a do-it-yourselfer or know a skilled repairman, this is a terrific value and usually requires replacement of parts or some skilled repair work. " I was wondering what you guys think about buying used gear - how much do these repairs usually cost?
the problem seems to be that "it does not produce any output and is missing the power cable." sounds like an easy fix except I expect that the reason it doesnt produce any output maybe a bit more complex than just a missing power cable.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.
