Organizing CDs

Post by Dropdead420 » Fri Jun 24, 2011 8:42 pm

Hey guys & gals, first off i would just like to appologize because this thread has most likely already been posted, but i cant seem to find it >_<

But yeah, as the title says, how do you guys organize your cds for the road and also how do you decide on what to put on a single cd?

EXamples: Organize cds in alphabetical order? or in genre/alphabetical order personally this is how I do it, but I would like to hear your ways as well :)
and secondly, when you make your cds how do figure out what tunes to put on this cd, like do you put a full ep/album on it, or would you rather put just like a single banger on a cd so you know what song is on that cd? I just want to figure out a good way to do this so I can find my tunes fast and not burn a million cds in the process :4:

8 tracks per CD. Tunes are arranged alphabetically on the day I buy them, then split into units of 8 and put into individual folders. Each folder is then micro programmed from most laid back tune to most frenetic tune, then burnt.

CDs are then arranged in wallet chronolically/autobigraphically.

I burn a bunch of random bangers to cd, put them all in a giant stack, rifle through them frantically in between mixes. 8)

Keeps me on my feet.
