And I'm dissapointed.... there's fucking noise in the background, this mic sounds the same as my fuckin webcam mic, it's saddening.

How do I fix this? Am I doing it wrong?

noise caused by the mic? or noise coming from say another room?
if its not caused by the mic, you could try a blanket over you and the mic, so outside noise doesn't get in. Also, maybe even put a sock over the mic.

if its mic-caused, sad to hear it. I thought the snowball was gona be a good one for the price... oh well, return it for the Yeti then?

All I'm reading is this microphone's sound capturing ability is so accurate, it's picking up background noise caused by environmental factors.

What's the problem with the hardware itself?

Snowballs are fantastic. Just get your room quiet for full effect.

I tried the sock, no difference. But maybe it's just noisy because I'm wearing headphones.

heaps of options even a small box. you can get a shitload of the foam from random businesses if you ask them. i work at an Authorised Apple Service Center and one of the guys here made his vocal booth from the foam in the boxes that the parts come in. Looks exactly like the foam in those pictures. He has padded a whole room.

Just a suggestion, dont know if this is right for you, but i think if you find a business that has this stuff they usually just throw the stuff out anyway so im sure they will help you out.

Yeah, a great mic in a shitty room is a shitty mic. The reason professional vocals/recordings sound good is 50% microphone, 50% room. Look into vocal booths, room treatments, pop filters, etc. before complaining about the quality of your mic.
My band is recording an album right now and we're using a Blue Snowball a lot, I can say from experience that they're great.

Turn down the input gain and talk louder
