I keep liquids out of my studio for the mere fact that I'd be likely to spill onto the electronics and ruin them and electrocute myself.

And I prefer being sober and in control.

Alcohol, no. Red Bull? Fuck yes.

It's different for MC's, alot of vocalists like a few drinks to loosen up. But being "loose" isn't too fun when I'm trying to use Logic Pro lol.

For me anything goes. *looks around at the smudges of white powder all over the keyboard, and the empty bottles everywhere.*
The only thing that does not go in my studio is smoke of anykind.

Standardly!

can't/won't produce with out a bag of weed and at least one cold beer... preferably a 6 pack but 9 times out of 10 i have to drive home from the studio which is at my parents house.

Sometimes though i get to stay over there and then i'm in the studio all night and i get crunk...

this is when my best tunes get made... it's the only way i can get properly deep into the creative process... get distracted REALLY easily in the day time!

peace

smoke of any kind is incredibly bad for any type of electrical equipment.
Scratch Perry probably blew smoke into his kit on purpose!

i remember waiting for logic to render tunes in the amount of time it took the track to play.

then later i got on reason and was waiting like 3 minutes for a 6 minute tune to render. then i got a better pc and tunes took like a minute and a half to render.

now on my macbook my tracks render in about 15 seconds.
