Not going to stop me eating meat. This reminds me of any charity/disease pledge; you feel bad watching it, and you will probably think about it for the rest of the day then continue doing whatever you used to do.

It IS horrible but if I stopped eating meat, others aren't so the "unfair" treatment is going to continue so long as people are eating meat.

its horrible but thats a huge leap to see that and stop wanting to eat all meat IMO. It just shows me how big the disconnect between whats on your plate and where it comes from is, makes me want to farm/hunt my own meat rather than stop eating it all together.

that aint gonna happen tho, turkey twizzlers fam

paul mccartney is a rubbery jeb end

The Linda McCartney frozen pies aren't that bad, but the sausages from the same range are fucking rank.

If we didn't eat meat, cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, and all that stuff would have gone extinct. I eat meat to preserve our wildlife. And because it's fucking beaut.

I aint never gonna stop eating meat

best to avoid that battery farmed shit though. Object to the poor treatment of the animals more than the killing of them

Personally I really want to hunt something, kill it and eat it some point. Or at least kill it and eat it. Feel like a nob eating meat without ever having done the dirty work myself. Housemates always freak out if people talk about animals being killed for food but will happily eat meat all day

(plus I think I'd enjoy it and it would be hella satisfying to eat something you actually had to go and kill and prepare).

Yeah cus all those undomesticated animals like deer and lions are well extinct. And nice one, preserving their life of unspeakable horror and cruelty, how unselfish of you

No it's a stupid point but we still wouldn't just have bare amounts of cows everywhere if we didn't eat them.

and we still kill deer

Best fucking meat there is!

seemd to concentrate on battery farming

i turned off after 3 minutes though

if it mentioned anything about organic or free range i'd be very surprised, theres a large sector of the farming industry which is very good, and the people care about their animals

all the horseshit about it being unaffordable is horseshit to... my family get our eggs from a farm a few miles away, get a massive box of em for about £4... all the chickens are raised on the farm, you can see them running about

we get our bacon from a place called the Cheshire Smokehouse, the bacon is the exact same price as regular supermarket bacon, the pigs are raised locally, in big fields, with loads of care and attention about how they're bred and raised, their diet and the conditions they live in

fair play though we dont often go to the butcher for beef unless we're doin like, fancy steaks, but i go to the butcher once every couple of months and went a lot more often when i was at uni, and they always have local, good quality meats if they're a decent butcher!

there's two sides to every story

if you go to Netto and spend 12p on 24 eggs you know where they've come from, some people can only afford that though so hey
