I know that FL Studio is somewhat of a pain to get working on a Mac, and it all but defeats the purpose when you have to run Parallel Desktop because your RAM would be eaten up by the simple fact of having two OS's running at the same time.......SO the question is: What program is compatible with Mac...but has the same feel as FL Studio, with a step sequencer and piano roll and such?
I don't own a MIDI Keyboard so programs like Ableton and Reason are kinda tricky because even drums are on Piano Roll (I think maybe I'm just retarded)...I WANT MY FL STUDIO BACK!!!!! But I got a Mac, FML

you can use bootcamp which lets you boot into windows instead of running them at the same time. or you can use logic, I hear theyre pretty similar.

Just use Ableton. I originally used FL, and when I switched over to Live drums were really hard for me.
Play around with it for an hour or so, and you'll get used to it.

As said above, bootcamp is the way to go. You will need a windows install disk handy tho!
Goto your utilities folder, in there theres a bootcamp setup assistant. Make sure you read and print off the instructions. And backup everything before you set it up!

Just installed Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro today.
Works like a charm, as long as you remember to boot into the right hard drive when you power up

Nah bootcamp is truly the only way to go. Its not emulating an operating system, which is what both those things in the video do.
It runs natively on a PC partition using bootcamp perfectly

in bootcamp, do you have to restart the comp and load whatever os you want? or can you have logic running, save it, close it, then open FL right after that? Just something ive always wondered

Yeah you have to restart and load which drive/partition you want to use.
