nice and atmospheric. could maybe do with a bit more variation etc but if your going for minimal, this works well

Yeah man a little short on variation, but thats not a major issue as you have said your addressing it.
The track is nice, dark and minimal as you are after.
Al the sounds are good, together and individually.
Only thing I have to say critique wise is if you want it to be a bit more atmospheric, consider using a little reverb and delay.
