Yeh but the problem is that people will hear that tune and think that that's some genre-defining tune for dubstep

yeah a lot of folks are bashed up over younger kids flogging the dubstep label but not knowing any of its lineage or the goodies it has to offer.

kinda like "punk" with blink182 fans lol
It's just the way shit goes, it took off running and no one can stop that shit.
At least when u play someone dubstep music they don't just say "oh, i don't like techno". hahahaha but u might hear "oh this is the instrumental, do you have the full JayZ song? i hate music with no lyrics". ......good god, just jump ship now.

first, blink-182 is an incredible pop punk band. one of my favorite bands ever, actually. second, i have been rinsing the "HAM" instrumental lately. come at me, bro.

hopefully they can pull this off. these are 2 of my favorite rappers, and they usually know what theyre doing.

anyone hear Cyhi Da Prince's song Bullet? I don't think its half bad. Executed better than most of the hip hop dubstep I've heard.

yeah i did, i kinda thought the same. im not exactly looking for this type of sound anyway but someone put me on to it. regarding that track, i made a thread, 0 comments, prob about 3 views heh heh.

doesn't bother me, i don't rate the guy i just thought it was interesting the post-dubstep arena, that more types of music are being made mixable with this stuff.. might help DJs who want to play across some boundaries, vary tempos n styles a little more

Kanye West + Jay-Z are business men

dubstep is just becoming more of a business than a sound or movement.

it's crazy that people like Skrillex are getting recognized on television news programs...
