Hello.
I was wondering what is the best sampler with sounds built into it?
I would prefer for it to be standalone rather than hook up to a computer to use a programs sounds.
Kindve a all in one package of sorts.
something like the Kaossilator Pro but with drum pads.
And also, does the Korg Esx have pre installed samples/sounds?
Thanks for reading

Hmm why would you want that? The whole point of a sampler is to sample stuff.
Do you mean drum machines? Or maybe you'd be interested in ROMplers? Check out E-MU's line of stuff like the MP-7, XL-7, MoPhat, Proteus series etc:

The older Akai samplers like the S2000 and later the MPC had a lot of Akai format sample CDs that you could buy and load onto the hard drives. Ebay is flooded with them, sometimes you can find MPCs or older Akai samplers sold with loads of samples already on the hard drives.

Yes the ESX has some built in sounds and demo songs, but they are pretty cheesy. Some are quite usable like 808s and 909s though, but the whole point is to put your own unique sounds into a sampler.
