Simple answer. Knowledge and imagination. Knowledge is power my friend. Grab that 'go to' compressor. Unless you know how to use it you won't get anywhere lol
But nah honestly, you can't go wrong with a rhodes sound and a flanger or phaser. Haha. Thats one go to sounds I like. Simple but works.
