Purchasing Massive

Post by Mammoth » Thu Jul 21, 2011 8:22 am

I've already decided that I'm to buy NI Massive but I don't know whether to download off the Internet or to buy the DVD.

The computer I produce on does NOT use Internet at all. (no viruses) :W:
When you purchase the DVD do you need to use the Internet to do all of those verifying codes and what-not? If so would it be better to just set up my computer to go on the Internet to download the program online or buy the DVD and set it up like that?
Thanks

You can authorize your copy via another pc and copy the info over with a flash drive.
Either option works.

Alright I'll go with the download because I'm impatient when it comes to waiting for packages even though I always get sketched downloading anything i paid for online. (I know I'm paranoid)

Yeah, you'd probably get an out of date DVD and have to upgrade online anyway. Simple to register it offline, I'm the same way without internet on the studio system.

ive always wanted to purchase vst's etc in the box. if you ever have comp crashing completely it will be easier just to reinstall instead of having to redownload the hefty file. and is it a long process to redownload them if u purchsed the DL online?

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

there`s nothing wrong with massive, as long as you don`t just use it to create generic bass.

Hey man, the Massive that i got with Komplete when i bought it was an out of date version and i still had to download the newer version anyway so maybe just download. It's cool to have the hard copy though i think, you never know if anything will go wrong with your account or anything like that, i'm sure it would be fine though.

I have a deep distance ish track that I have in mind for this.
Some cool distorted guitar lines.
With my usual psychedelic flavor.
