When I go to make a new preset, Ableton becomes unresponsive and crashes :c

Anyone else experience this problem, or know how to deal with it?

I actually bought Kontakt 4 too, and Massive has been working since forever. Now it's crapping up ):

I'm glad I didn't torrent it, now I'm able to complain in the NI forum.

Good luck! I know 3 different people trying to get NI to care enough to respond to them online right now. If I were you, I'd go straight for a phone call, don't bother with the forum.

Hi pal, I used to have the same problem in Ableton. Everytime i tried to apply an LFO or envelope ableton would just shut down without warning, I had a search around on the internet and found this which worked for me...

The trick is to delete the user database file @

E:\Documents and Settings\******\Local Settings\Application Data\Native Instruments\Massive\

^ delete this file NIMassiveDataBase_ul
Open the standalone and have it make a new database...

Weird, when I had an issue installing Massive, NI responded to my email in less than 12hrs

What was the response? One got a response quickly, but it was an email with a link to the FAQ :/ AFAIK he used the official support contact form on the site, the others used only the forum.
The other guy gave up and formatted and started fresh, not sure what happened with the other.

Their forums seem like a ghost town as far as actual employees are concerned, but the users that post there have said just call up their German or US headquarters instead of waiting for forum responses. There were quite a few displeased forum posts there though.

Personally it has me a bit wary about upgrading as all 3 of those issues arose from update problems, but they could just be dumb too tbh. Could be user error, I dunno.

I think its C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Massive
Remember to unhide your hidden folders to see that appdata folder
