SPECOPS Music 017!
SPECOPS Music has got something special for you this fall 2011.Sonal Prez from Voronezh, Russia concocted two blissful futuristic bass music tunes that have their roots deeply planted between 2-step and deep Detroit techno influences.
Up first is “Hial”, this tune is hard to classify. It is best described as a blissful 2-step/garage tune massed with deep electro lines on top of a rolling bassline. On first listen it reminds you of an IDM techno release from the mid 90’s.
On the flip we have “Astrofunk”, this number shows a more intricate drum structure that unfolds upon layers of dubbed out FX and synth pads. A truly genius piece of work, that sounds vaguely familiar to what early deep Detroit techno pioneers would have released back in the early era if they produced dubstep inspired music.
Cat: SPECDR017
Release date: SEP2011
Sonal Prez - Hial
Sonal Prez - Astrofunk
Listen here:
Prevailing from the murky corners of the Pacific NW emerges a Bass Music label from Portland, Oregon. The main mission for SPECOPS Music will be concentrated around large menacing basslines that move the dance floor both mentally and physically. Be it from Grime, UK Garage, Dubstep, 2-Step or Broken Techno.
Sounds like: scorn, benga, dubstep, 2-step, 90's techno
Distributed via all good mp3 stores:
iTunes, Beatport, Juno Download, Digital-Tunes, etc.
