Keyboard help
Hello Dubstepforum, I am recently getting into EDM production (with fruity loops), and am looking for a convenient keyboard that is compatible with my soundcard (Asus xonar DS: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6829132013), and need to know all necessary cables to hook it up to my PC. I'm really looking for a keyboard that "gets the job done", and definitely don't want to spend more than necessary. Thanks for all the help and feedback!

Compatible in which way?
I have a usb keyboard so it just goes in the usb slot.
It came with a cable that was connected to the back of the keyboard.
I didn`t spend any extra.
As I said, it came with the pc.
It has all the keys I need F1 to F12 and so forth.
Space bar, esc, etc.
Here's a shot for you of the one I have.

If you're referring to a usb midi keyboard, you shouldn't have to worry about compatibility with your soundcard. The only thing that matters is the operating system you're on and if the keyboard is compatible/has reliable drivers for it. You can get a midi soundcard if you actually want to use MIDI cables, but most keyboards nowadays just use USB. It's as easy as installing the drivers, plugging it in, and rocking the f#<k out.

I meant USB MIDI Keyboard as in Piano keys.

Me thinks me sarcas-o-meter was broken on this day.
My friend just let me borrow his M-Audio Axiom 25 and I'm really enjoying this thing. It's got enough keys for me to get my ideas down and I'm about to goto town on all these knobs and pads.
