Yes I googled, but it didn't show me good results.
What I'm asking is, is there a way to like, record a synth part, and then take a vocal sample and run it through that synth part, making the timbre of the vocals the synth part?
I've tried using FL's Vocodex sidechained but it doesn't work like I want it to.
This is the tutorial I found last night that inspired this question:
I want it similar to this, but just, better. Ya know.

You need to use a vocoder. Vocodex should work just fine, however, you don't sidechain it. You just route it through a vocoder channel with your synth. Maybe this will help you out.

I'll watch that video tomorrow, hopefully it helps. Thanks. I'm just really tired right now so watching it won't do any good.

It's extremely simple. It's a bit long winded, but you can just fast forward through it and get the idea of how it's used in just a couple minutes.

Really don't know what you're asking but there are synths that allow audio input, like albino and arturia's minimoog to name a couple, you could run your audio into them. A lot easier now in patcher, or chainer, whatever they now call it in flstudio.

Yea, at first I was thinking this is what he was asking to. But when he mentioned he wanted the voice to sound like the synth, basically, then it sounded more like a vocoder with a carrier signal.
The FL Vocoder is outdated, but that's pretty much the gist of how most vocoders work.

vocodex is the new kid on the block. There are free vocoders out there too.

Would you like fries with that, or perhaps a large drink to go with your vocals?
