Plus if you have it you only spend 49 on the upgrade.

it's a bitch to use...but a satisfying bitch when you crack it :6:

it's not really any different to most other synths tho...what trouble are you having?

I think the new version seems to handle the mods and routings much better.
I wonder if this version will take the virus mod.
Probably will be fine.
That should be even more interesting.

just after making some oscilator layers, after running them through a filter, i just cant get any interesting sounds. To be honest i think it might just be the UI. Not having enough patience with it to get deep enough into it : \

I doubt it's compatible, it seems they recoded most if not all of it from the ground up. Maybe the wavetables will still load though since they were just .wav.

Yep, I would imagine visually the mod would not effect the overall UI.
The wavetables are what you change in the virus mod so I can`t see how it wouldn`t work.
It`s all up to experimenting to see what happens I guess.
Not that it`ll need the mod by the looks of things.

$10!? I got the $20 one, totally worth it. I've been getting my head around it recently. Such a thick sound. Don't know if I feel the need to spend $50 though.

I'm happy to see this.

Its a beast of a synth and it does feel a bit outdated (GUI wise) so a fresh new look will make you go back to it..

Look at Reaktor4 > 5 - they make it pretty and more people use it.
