Looking for a delay vst that allows the delay time to be changed via a midi knob controller that will emulate the effect of a hardware delay unit. I have tried a few but most of them don't perform like the Boss Delay guitar pedal.
I want to be able to play a sound and then tweak the knob and make epic, unpredictable delay chaos.
If there's a few to recommend then perhaps one with tape effect and filters

Re: Delay vst for live performance
Try, er, all of them? haha
Audio Damage's Dub Station is good, so is MDA's DubDelay and TAL's Dub II. I've never met a delay I couldn't automate though, just hook it up through your DAW's automation function.
