DUB CORNER
We're back at the Living bar for the 3rd round of the Dub Corner.
This time on the line up we've the Just the Bassics Dj's;Physt and Phloss plus Rita Maia from the collective BadMood and presenter of the show Sine Of Times on Ressonance Fm and that just came from playing at the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Festival.
Last but certainly not least Buster also from BadMood and resident Dj at Dub Corner.
So...no excuse to come once again to Brixton for another night of Deep Dubs and Basslines.

JUSTTHEBASSICS (PHYST B2B PHLOSS)
Just the Bassics was born in 2008 through the combined efforts of Filipe 'Physt' Sousa and Joe 'Phloss' Brooks, as a radio show to showcase the best in Dubstep, Drum n Bass, Breaks, Hip Hop, Reggae and Dub. Throughout the years, Just the Bassics started growing in listeners and maturing in sound, playing new and exclusive tracks from the likes of Fragile, Mr Lager, Rogue State, Swarms and many others. Their DJ sets are a journey through the best of electronic bass music, carefully planned to give the most pleasurable experience to their crowd.

RITA MAIA (badmood,talkingatme,sine of times)
After a busy month of April, headlining Bar Fly's sunday night at the annual Camden Crawl festival with Dels, Sbtrkt and GhostPoet, opening of the Oxford Asmolean Museum Late Nights as well as her resident monthly night Talking At Me at the Notting Hill Arts Club in West London where Ben Westbeech (Breach), Funkineven, Young Turks, Throwing Snow, Elgato have been some of the guest performers, Rita Maia is still a resident at the BBC Club and hosts the saturday night electronic music show Sine Of The Times on the award winning London radio Resonance FM, with weekly guests, exclusive mixes and live acts.
As things start kicking off for the summer, the DJ/broadcaster/teacher will be performing at Fusion Festival in Germany on the 30th of June, for a Badmood DJs showcase withNsekt and Trece and at Gilles Peterson Worldwide Festival in SETE, South of France on the 8 July, doing the Friday Beach Stage with london crews Boiler Room, Young Turks and legend Ross Allen, representing Portugal for the first time in the festival, alongside a line up that has just left us speechless from Kode 9, Flying Lotus, Ramadanman, joy Orbison to Cut Chemist, Dam Funk and David Rodigan.

BUSTER (badmood,wirelessfm,dub corner)
Buster started dj'ing in the free party circuit in london in 1999. With Drum & Bass dominating his sets for a long period of time, later on he added NuSkool Breaks and more recently Dubstep, one of the innovating sounds of south london area where he lives.
There he's been around playing in clubs such has The Mass, SE01,The Medussa in Brixton and others. After this Buster started his own night at the No Name Bar, naming it BASSPATHS, also the name of his weekly net radio show at Wirelessfm and BadMood Radio.
Outside the UK he has performed in various nights, where some to mention are Krakow in Poland, the Beachfest in Formia - Italy, several acts in the Netherlands (where he also headlined the 2nd day of the festival "the streets are our canvas" in amsterdam), Portugal both in Lisbon and Porto, where recently and together with DJ Hope presented their Dubstep project the "Dub Dynamic Duo" and with huge success alongside with his sound mate 1Way.
After this Buster has been involved in different events across London and abroad, but never forgetting his roots he continues to dj in more underground parties such has the 'DISSIDENT ISLAND BENEFIT NIGHT'
In 2011 he's invited to be a resident at the bi-monthly night 'DUB IT UP' at the Inspiral Lounge in Camden,London that has been running with some success.And now in June, together with the label 19th Studio, they start a new night in Brixton, 'Dub Corner' dedicated to the deeper side of Dub, Dubstep and Future Garage.
His sets show a deep and varied taste in music and a steady mixing technique, from someone has been in this circuit for some time and can never fail to get your feet off the ground.
