Notting Hill Carnival 2011 + afterparties

So it is Carnival season again.
We are finally going to the carnival this year. After many years talking about doing it
I remember a couple of years ago i saw a thread about i think the 2009 year carnival where every party was plugged onto google maps.
My question is: what are the good parties and what should one do, and are there anything that should be avoided?
I was looking for a list of afterparties but couldn't find any.

Think I'm going this year, 2 After-parties I've seen are

Deviation (Benji B's night);
Benji B
DJ EZ
DJ Zinc
Alexander Nut

and

Red Bull Music Academy;
Major Lazer
Jackmaster b2b Oneman

Usually have to sign up to g-list to get on the Red Bull stuff at Carnival.
