Wobble automation. I'm having a tough time finding any decent tutorials on waveforms 'n shit.

						Re: NI Massive
for wobble automation, route your audio to filter 1 and set it to lowpass, either lowpass 2 or lowpass 4, you decide. Then on the cutoff knob, drag LFO number thing in the tab up into one of the dark squares under the cutoff knob. Now click and drag that dark square which should now have a number in it untill a circular line surrounds the cutoff knob. Now edit the LFO settings and you will have wobble.
And I'm sorry if my instructions are wrong, I am not a massive user and never have been. I've tried the demo before and I am recalling this information from then.

Re: NI Massive
Thanks for the info man. My problem is, I have these presets but I'm tweaking them and what not. I guess my problem is as much with automation as it is with the waveforms.

						Re: NI Massive
thats the biggest reason why I don't use massive is because you don't see the waveforms and therefore don't know how they work. I can't help on that one.

I'm confused by such a notion. Heard of your ears? (pun intended)jrisreal wrote:thats the biggest reason why I don't use massive is because you don't see the waveforms and therefore don't know how they work. I can't help on that one.

With waveforms like modern talking who needs to learn synthesis?amphibian wrote:jrisreal wrote:thats the biggest reason why I don't use massive is because you don't see the waveforms and therefore don't know how they work. I can't help on that one.
A conglomeration of my old tearout tunes I like, and my new ones I don't

Re: NI Massive
With the waveform stuff, that's probably the only downside to massive. You cant't see it. But just play with the WT knob while you are playing a note and listen to the changes...

Re: NI Massive
imo this is far better than looking at the waveform, which really tells you nothing except what frequencies are being hit. And really, that means shit all if you're not listening.BevOh wrote:With the waveform stuff, that's probably the only downside to massive. You cant't see it. Idunno bout you, but I'd like to know more about my sound than what it sounds like. If it's really that important - it's called a spectrum analyzer.jrisreal wrote:Idunno bout you, but I'd like to know more about my sound than what it sounds like. Or has been for a long time I guess.

All about the lumpy porridge imo.
