Hi guys,

I have just purchased an M Audio trigger finger and i mean i have figured out how to map all the knobs and pads and stuff but im struggling with creating my own dj templates.

I saw Ill gates DJ template vid on youtube for it and it looks awesome but i just dont have the cash to buy that right now and i think i would learn alot more trying to create all those routed effects mapped and all myself..

Any suggestions or tutorials I can look into?

Or anyone with there own ableton live dj templates or racks that are willing to share online, that I can play around with and learn from?

Any help would be more than appreciated?

My suggestion is to save up your moneys and buy ill Gates' template.
It's pretty much perfect and is already mapped for the trigger finger.

Yeah i bet you could probalby even explain to Dylan ( pretty sure thats ill.gates name lol or illium lol silly monikers i never know) that your broke and he may sell you the tempalte seperately from the rest of the package for less... its not like his prices are set in complete stone but he def. is an ableotn boy genius of sorts.

suck it up and spend the $50. totally worth it. there is another thread where some of this is discussed.

I guess Ill be doing so. Ill pop him a message and see what he says. A friend of mine told me he asks him for advice all the time and he always makes time to reply and doesnt expect money always

O yeah hes super cool ive just messged him on facebook nad got replies back same day before. He was at shambahala this weekend and i htink he just moved to cali i dont know if thats going to keep him busy (id imagine so), but i did email the studio team this weekend and they answered in a matter of hours at 11pm at night lol it was pretty crazy to have them reply that quick. Good products great support awesome people!
