I agree the mix could use some work. However there are some positive sides to this mix. This mix has no mud in it. which is great, most mixes have quite alot of mud. Second, the vocals are very clear and up front. This is great , if you are mixing a song with vocals and you can't hear them its horrible! The negative things about this mix are : yea there is no mud, but there isn't anything! it sounds empty. Bring back some of the frequencies you EQed out! Or do what I do which is whenever I bring out a frequency I try to fill it with another instrument. Usually I try to fill it in with a instrument that is already naturally in that frequency. ( However if you listen to burial you'll notice he fills in gaps with instruments that shouldn't be in that frequency range and makes it work. But you have to learn how to draw a face before you get all picasso and draw the nose on all the way on the right side of the painting ). Also the vocals are up front however they are pretty harsh ( to much highend ). Some things sound good being a little harsh ! ( like higher synth part ), but vocals aren't one of them.

ps I am still learning how to mix dubstep to :)
