E-MU Xboard 25 problems

I sware it just doesn't work. Downloaded the updates from http://www.emu.com/support/files/downlo ... 1&File=558
and still nothing!
It turns on, Ableton and Fl Studio recognize it, and the numbers move on the Keyboard if I turn something, but when I press a key nothing happens.
I un plug the USB cable, put it back in, sometimes it doesn't turn on at all, when it does, sometimes it says Unrecognized USB device, sometimes it turns on fine but then I'm back to square one.
Any help with this would be amazing.
