My subwoofer is looking at me and nodding "Fuck yes". I listened to a couple tunes by these folks a while back, thought it was cool but never looked further into it. Now I'm downloading their discography, this is sooo sick

The way this guy uses a wah pedal is an art form in itself.
@Oly: They're all portishead songs.. It's a Fire, Glory Box and Mysterons are some gooduns.

Okay, you lot seem to get a real hardon over production value. I can't join you in that quest, doesn't interest me so much. But their production is fucking mind blowing. Just absolutely amazing texture, their highs are... like every frequency starting around 2k and up feeds directly into ports in my spinal column. Amazing highs.
And that isn't even mentioning the flippin music. Jah bless the mother flippin music. Truly a special thing happening there. Honestly... I have no intention of reaching those heights of quality. But if I did... I'd be very pleased with myself indeed.

A friend put this song on while we were tripping mushrooms-- absolutely blew my mind away. Woke up the next morning and went straight to the record store to by Dummy. Had that album on repeat for most of that summer. I love everything Portishead has done, finally get to see them live in november!

Portishead is great. Them and Massive Attack are perfect "chillin' out" music.
