Tsunami Audio is proud to present the Zodiac EP featuring 5 tracks of freshness from this up-and-comer receiving mad love and support on the Internet and in clubs worldwide. The title tune "Zodiac" brings us steppy, funky madness and features a disgusting bassline switching off with pitchbent synth stabs reminiscent of some Hip Hop swagger. "Science" follows the call-and-response routine with some ravey staccato synth stabs and wonky voice samples. "Hexed" ups the ante by combining distorted guitar work with eerie melodic synths and weird voodoo chanting vocals, ending up with something quite uniquely dark and heavy. The final tracks on Zodiac EP take the tempo down a notch: "Lost in Space" reminds of some Noisia productions in instrumental Hip Hop - signature growly basslines meet melodramatic synths and climax in an epic but slow-burning swagger. Taking a more subtle approach, "Mechalone" emphasizes melancholy melodies and a live piano part played by DVN, but still delivers the crisp steppy wonkiness which is evident all throughout this release.
