I posted the link to this on my fb page for jokes, and got a couple comments like "yeah that's funny but this Identity Fest is good for our scene." Really? Really? :u:

Am I missing something with deadmau5? I heard that 'for lack of a better name' album and its all electrohouse sort of stuff, why does he keep getting associated with dubstep?

i can't think of anything that is associated with 'dubstep' that is actually dubstep to be honest.
(dubstep being what we understand it as, and 'dubstep' being what it's perceived as - if that makes sense)

when seeing stuff like this i just want to carpet bomb the whole usa.

seriously, WHY GOD WHY?

edit: http://www.hipsterrunoff.com/altreport/ ... oodie.html
James Blake's new look certainly does not confirm that he is The Prince of Dubstep. I think he could probably use a Skrillex haircut, or maybe some Deadmau5 ears. Instead, he will just keep playing his little piano and having deep bass at his shows. I guess every1 has their gimmick...
:lol:
that makes up for it

These FUCKING furry boots;

Image

Can't put into words the sheer horror that filled me when I first gazed upon these. I was at a festival and saw the horde of Northern coked up meatheads and their bints in those furry abominations, jumping up and down in the cestpit of a Hardcore/Gabba tent. Cringed everytime I passed it as i heard the DONK-DONK-DONK-DONK-DONK

Because he signed Skrillex and Zeds Dead, so his label is getting mad dub hype, in its purest form.

And to be fair to these kids, most of them are young and stupid. It's not young and stupid kids are non-existent in the UK

Implying Britain doesn't have long haired students in plastic shades yelling about how much they love Dub. There's morons everywhere.
