AnD are a duo based in Manchester, they’re first release appeared on Mindset recordings back in 2009 when they released ‘Nebulos’ which was a techno swinging track pulling influence from the worlds of dubstep and jungle.
Since then AnD have gone on to release EP’s on two of Berlin’s highly revered techno labels, Horizontal Ground and Black Sun Records with the tracks delving into both they’re deeper dubbier side and also they’re more industrial techno sounds. AnD also made their first appearance at the Berghain in March at the Frozen Border / Horizontal Ground Label night, a huge success and already a highlight of 2011.
AnD will have forthcoming releases this year with Horizontal ground, Project Squared, Inner Surface Music, Hidden Hawaii Ltd, Idle Hands, Sect and of course Mindset. There will be quite a span of genres from these releases, you can look forward to hearing techno, dubstep, ambient and drum n bass from an AnD perspective.
