SPECOPS Music 018!
SPECOPS Music is letting this monster of a release out of its cage Fall 2011. DJ Harp crafted it in the vein of 'old school' jungle and mid-90's techno sensibility all wrapped up in a Bass Music construct.
Up first is "More Guns", it comes ‘guns a blazing’ chock full of 'old school' hoover bass madness atop a heavily shifting on-slot of twisted drum breaks that harken to mid-90's Jungle releases that call for a full rewind at the dance.
On the flip we have “Tekno Nut”; it finds itself nested between Detroit techno vibes with crackin break-neck drums that ride along massive subs and pounding 808's.
Cat: SPECDR018
Release date: OCT2011
DJ HARP - More Guns
DJ HARP - Tekno Nut
Listen here:
Prevailing from the murky corners of the Pacific NW emerges a Bass Music label from Portland, Oregon. The main mission for SPECOPS Music will be concentrated around large menacing basslines that move the dance floor both mentally and physically. Be it from Grime, UK Garage, Dubstep, 2-Step or Broken Techno.
Sounds like: scorn, benga, dubstep, 2-step, 90's techno
Distributed via all good mp3 stores:
iTunes, Beatport, Juno Download, Digital-Tunes, etc.
