Nice one mate, really glad you're feeling it. First time i did a whole track with this sound and i completely fell in love with break-beats :)

Not a bad tune, can tell you put a solid effort into this one.
My only real advice is to just keep at it and learn ways to phatten out your production more. Synths can be more full, synths can have more bite, and drums can smack harder.
Try using different distortions to fill out your synths more, choose meatier drum samples, try layering your drum hits, as in a few kicks together to beef them up, layer snares together to beef them up. Experiment with different kick/snare textures as you layer them to find out which ones fit together.

And also remember, the best tunes have a killer melody that sends shivers up your spine. Always shoot for that ;)

Mate, i've thought about all of those things when making this tune. I didn't want to compress any parts of the track too, to avoid killing all the transients. The bass in the first part of the track is meant to be in the background leaving space for the break and the drums. The bass after the second "drop" fills it out a bit more.
About the drums, i didn't want the kick to smash through, i also wanted it to sit a bit back and kick at about 90-100 hz. The same with the snare. Listen to the drums on some of my other tunes, they are a bit more smashing, layered and dubstep'ish.
Think i'm going to make a tune with a bigger and more evolving melody instead of what i have here.

This reminds me A LOT like if one took a mid-90s rave track and removed all the amp and distortion. Or, I guess, never put it in. Good stuff either way.

Thanks mate. Probably should say that this is the first track i've done with this sound. I will continue with these sounds though... Really the most fun i've had while making a tune.

I agree with tantic, a good tune all around though
