There was a thread on here a while back about darker UKF songs, but that thread is long dead and most of the songs weren't the sound I was looking for. As a UKF fan from the other side of the world, getting to hear tracks that are exactly the vibe I'm looking for is pretty hard, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out to find songs that funky but darker, here's some examples:
Ill Blu - Dragon Pop
DVA - Step 2 Funk
Elgato - Tonight
T Williams -Getting Mine
Headhunter - Chasing Dragons
and of course, Fis T's Night Hunter

Not really sure if this counts as funky, but it's 127bpm or something and it has that funky kinda beat, definately dark though; wouldn't beat out of place in a uk funky set. You've probably already heard it i'm sure :p




doc daneeka's ep has some dark tunes on it too, would recommend that.

Also a lot of seiji tunes are pretty dark. some are quite chirpy too though, depends on what he's remixed normally.
